Timeshare owners have a never-ending confusion wanting to know what the so called maintenance fees they have been paying for. These fees have been drastically increasing year after year resulting to people seeking for timeshare relief.

A recent posted item in Disney had shed light on what’s considered as maintenance.

Maintenance fees include the refinishing of wood floors, replacing of carpets, repainting of units, replacing of blinds or drapery, reupholstering of sofas and love seats, adding of twin sleeper chair to all one bedroom and larger units, changing of new granite countertops and new hardware for cabinetry of the kitchen, replacing ceiling fans, adding new lamps in master and living rooms, television to be upgraded to flat panel units.

All timeshare developers should be transparent to all timeshare owners. These owners need to know why maintenance fees are increasing almost year after year, aside from the fact that they have the right to know it, developers will not be able to hide anything about what they are using the money for.

The reason for all the cover up could be because developers don’t want to give owners the option to examine these costs carefully and they don’t want to be checked on what and where they would be spending the money.

If and only there will just be transparency, then maybe the percentage for people wanting to get rid of timeshare will be lessened.
