Lately, the timeshare industry in the US has seen a number of timeshare owners seeking for timeshare relief. Timesharing may have been introduced almost 50 years ago in the French Alps and it may have seen great changes since then but the timeshare system is just gaining a name in the Emirates.

The timeshare system enables the owners of the timeshare packages to stay in their timeshare units for a week or more. It has gained enough following in the US and other European countries with the opportunity it provides vacationers. Unfortunately, because of the increasing maintenance fees, some timeshare owners are opting to get out of their timeshare contracts. And the financial crunch worsened this scenario.

But in the Emirates, the financial crisis is causing the boom of timesharing. This is because people in these countries have discovered the benefits that timesharing offers. They are finding it an opportune time to lower expenses especially for luxurious expenses by sharing the costs.

Wael Hussein Amer of the Arabian Falcon, a timeshare company in Dubai, stated that the main attraction of timeshare is cost sharing. People are finding it beneficial not to purchase holiday homes at its full cost and using it for over a couple of days alone. While with timeshare, people can spend less because they get to share the full cost of the resort.

Timeshare is no doubt beneficial but only if it is property carried out. If the other unbeneficial practices being done in the US is also carried out in the Emirates, owners will also later find it beneficial to get rid of their timeshares. Hopefully, timesharing will be implemented properly in that side of the world.
